Welcome to Simon Cook Photography. I captured my first wedding in 2001. It was held at Hinckley Golf Club. Since then wedding photography has taken me to lots of venues in Hinckley, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, London and beyond. I have captured many weddings at The Sketchley Grange, Badgers Mount, Ashton Lodge, Coombe Abbey, Ansty Hall, Mythe Farm, Windmill Village, Brownsover Hall, Brandon Hall, Saxon Mill, Ettington Park, Welcombe Hotel, Mallory Court, Warwick House, The Guildhall in Leicester, Shearsby Bath, Weston Hall Hambleton Hall and many many more. Wedding Photography often takes me to London where to venues such as Tower Bridge, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, Weddings on The Thames to private houses in Chelsea and to famous registry offices on the Kings Road
I can be available to capture your day when you want it to start and finish. I do not charge for travel. I will try to meet up with you before the wedding to talk through the day.
You can secure me for wedding photography for £300. This is then subtracted from the balance which becomes payable 4 weeks before the wedding.
After the wedding, your images are ready to view within a week. A boxed USB is with you in around 2 weeks after the wedding and the album in 28 days.
Your album and USB is posted direct from the lab to you at no extra cost.

Prestwold Hall Wedding PhotographyPrestwold Hall in Leicestershire is a wonderful setting. Locations for photography are amazing. The service at Prestwold hall is second to none. This is a image taken during the wedding of Paul and Kellie. The wedding took place in August and as you can see the grounds are in full bloom. I entered a digital album in the SWPP Album competition of the year as it was such a fantastic wedding to capture.
Situated in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, Prestwold Hall and its superbly maintained grounds offer an idyllic background to your wedding day.
A private residence for over 350 years, Prestwold Hall is still home to the Packe-Drury-Lowe family and perhaps it is this that helps to create such a wonderfully inviting and welcoming feeling to the Hall.
The hall is managed and catered by elite hospitality company, Maverick, who offer a superior selection of menu options, each utilising only the finest ingredients, seasonal produce and prepared by expert chefs. The wedding menu options are designed to be ‘mix and match’ to enable you to create a menu which your guests will truly enjoy. Alternatively, if you have your own ideas a bespoke menu, just for your party can be designed.
Buxted Park Wedding PhotographyKate and Alex chose me to capture their day after being apart of a wedding I had photographed the year before in Coventry. It was in fact Kate's brother's wedding at Ansty Hall in Coventry.
Kate and Alex's wedding took place at the wonderful Buxted Park, Uckfield East Sussex.
They complete coverage of their day. The whole day was at Buxted park on a baking August day. Buxted Park has so many photo locations. it really is a dream location.
2 weeks after the wedding day once back from Honeymoon I sent the couple a demo disc with all the images from the day. With this they chose their 80 photographs for the album. In all they had a album and printable disc. The disc had over 700 hand processed photographs. They are allowed to use the disc to obtain as many prints as they wish....They purchased the copyright to the images in fact if you have a disc only package...you own the copyright to them. I give you a letter with permission from me.

They travelled from their home in Mauritius to be married at Hambleton Hall.

Hambleton Hall can provide the perfect setting for a small wedding.
They hold a licence covering a variety of spaces for the ceremony, the Private Dining Room, the Study, the Restaurant and the Croquet Pavilion. Their maximum capacity is 60.

The wedding was at a private house in Lincolnshire in the amazing gardens. Guests came from all over the UK and also flew in from Dubai, Australia and Italy to spend the day with the couple. Everything happened at the Hall Farm Harspwell which included the early morning preparations through to the first dance.
