Sketchely Grange Hotel, Burbage Hinckley, Leicestershire Wedding
With all weddings that I capture I gained as much detail as possible from the couple before the wedding. This is a great way to "walk" the wedding through. They can decide what is important to them, what they want capturing and discuss timings, numbers and group shot details.
Steff and Claire's wedding began in the morning and went through to the first dance.

Philippa Langley and King Richard III
Living close to the Battle of Bosworth and near to many of the sites connected to Richard III final days (Dadlinton, Market Bosworth, Sutton Cheney), it has always been a thing of wonder....I wonder what ever happened to him?! Well thanks to this wonder-ful lady we now know!
I was lucky enough to capture a talk she did at a school in Market Bosworth in 2013 just 11 months after discovering the King with the help of Leicester University. The story is amazing and thanks to her efforts laid to rest in manor fit for a King.

Hambleton Hall Wedding Photography
Alan and Alison were married at the wonderful Hambleton Hall in Rutland. The brief from the couple was that they wanted a totally relaxed feel to their photograph for the day. This is something that I love to provide as my style is unobtrusive.
I met with Alan and Alison a couple of weeks prior to the wedding to talk about how they saw the day panning out. The meeting prior is fantastic as it is a great way to talk about timings, group shots and perhaps relax nervy couples as the big day approaches!

The oak-panelled Library is the perfect setting for a civil ceremony, offering stunning views over the gardens. The Saloon and Dining Room are also licensed for ceremonies. Once you have been married, you and your guests can then enjoy drinks and canapes in the Conservatory, always a bright and airy place to relax, as well as the gardens, which are beautiful throughout the year and abound with photo opportunities.
You and your guests can then move into the Saloon for the wedding breakfast - once guests are seated, you can both make a big entrance down the Saloon's grand staircase, a truly memorable way to start proceedings. For smaller parties, the Library or Dining Room can be utilised for the wedding breakfast.
For larger weddings, the grounds can be used for marquees, with space for up to 1000 guests. For something a little different, why not hold your wedding reception, or evening party, in a tipi? Surrounded by 400 acres of parkland, you will feel miles from anywhere!
Sandon Hall has also featured as a wedding venue on 'Don't Tell The Bride', the popular BBC3 show in which the groom and best man have to plan every aspect of the wedding as a surprise for the bride.
