This is the wedding of Daniel and Eve. The wedding took place at The Mythe Barn Pinwall Ln, Atherstone in Warwickshire

The wedding photography on the day started at midday with the service at 2pm. Before the ceremony I set the scene by capturing the The Mythe Barn. Guests began to arrive as we got ever closer to the wedding.

I first met up with the bride and groom before the wedding. I always speak to the couple pre wedding. This is either done at the venue, home, by Skype by telephone. This is a great chance to talk about the day ahead, to find out the likes and dislikes and run through the day. Its a wonderful ice breaker too and helps to make a potential nervous couple a little bit more relaxed on their big day. You can contact me here to talk about your wedding.

Mythe Barn is pretty much the perfect wedding venue. The gardens, suites, dinning areas and service I found to be fantastic. The whole place has a great feel.

I have been photographing weddings for over 15 years and know to make sure I am in place to capture key moments of the day. I knew the time the groom was going to arrive from the pre wedding meeting I had in person with the couple 2 weeks prior to the wedding (always free and can be in person, Skype telephone or email).
I use Nikon equipment to photograph weddings and this image was used using a Nikon D750 camera with a 70-200mm f4 lens. This is a dream pairing. The detail I get from this lens is amazing.

I will often stand at the front out of the way to the side of the registrar. He i got into place as the bride made her entrance. With this image no flash was used. I try not to use flash and will always look for available light. Too much flash will have a big effect on the atmosphere of a photograph.

They are often very emotional and can make a great memory of the day. I always photograph the speeches using a long lens (Nikon 70-200mm). I will also use off camera flash to complement the scene. Not only do I photograph the top table I will also look for emotion from the other tables, be that a tear or a smile.
